Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Digital Product Owner to lead the execution of a large-scale, enterprise digital transformation initiative focused on building next-generation Labor Management and Workforce Operations applications. This role is ideal for a highly tactical Product Owner who excels at transforming high-level business concepts into detailed product requirements, user stories, and development-ready backlogs.
Working closely with Product Leadership, UX/UI Designers, Architects, and Agile Engineering teams, you will own backlog management, requirements refinement, workflow optimization, and feature delivery for a modern custom web and mobile application supporting real-time logistics, workforce scheduling, and operational decision-making.
This position requires a strong background in Agile Product Ownership, Jira, UI/UX collaboration, custom application development, and complex business workflow management. Experience in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, Workforce Management, E-Commerce, or other high-volume transaction environments is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Requirements Management
  • Own the product backlog and translate high-level business ideas into detailed, actionable requirements.
  • Write comprehensive user stories, epics, features, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Define business rules, edge cases, workflows, and system behavior to eliminate ambiguity for development teams.
  • Continuously refine and prioritize backlog items to align with business objectives and delivery timelines.
Backlog Management & Agile Delivery
  • Manage and maintain the product backlog using Jira and Confluence.
  • Conduct backlog grooming, refinement sessions, sprint planning, and prioritization activities.
  • Ensure all user stories meet the Definition of Ready (DoR) before development begins.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including:
    • Sprint Planning
    • Daily Stand-ups
    • Sprint Reviews
    • Retrospectives
    • PI Planning (SAFe)
UI/UX Collaboration
  • Partner with UX/UI designers to translate Figma and design mockups into detailed engineering requirements.
  • Define user journeys, wireframe behaviors, screen interactions, and workflow logic.
  • Ensure delivered functionality aligns with approved UI/UX designs and business expectations.
  • Advocate for intuitive, user-centric digital experiences.
Workflow & Business Process Optimization
  • Analyze and optimize complex business workflows involving:
    • Workforce scheduling
    • Labor management
    • Resource allocation
    • Operational logistics
    • Real-time transaction processing
  • Identify process improvements that enhance usability, efficiency, and scalability.
Engineering Collaboration
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Product Management and Engineering teams.
  • Clarify business requirements, answer technical questions, and resolve functional ambiguities during development.
  • Validate completed features against acceptance criteria and Definition of Done (DoD).
  • Support quality assurance, UAT, and production readiness activities.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Stakeholders, Architects, Developers, QA teams, and UX Designers.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and product demonstrations.
  • Communicate product priorities, release plans, and project progress to leadership.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 3 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Digital Product professional within Agile environments.
  • Proven experience delivering custom web and mobile applications from concept through production.

  • Expertise managing Agile product backlogs using:

Education
