Position: Digital Solutions Integration Engineer II – Digital Solutions Department
Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a Digital Solutions Integration Engineer II to design, deliver, and support Active Network Management (ANM) systems within our Digital Solutions Department. This role is instrumental in integrating advanced power systems, automation platforms, and digital technologies to support the evolving needs of modern energy infrastructure.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands-on system integration, working across hardware and software environments, and contributing to cutting-edge grid technologies.


What You’ll Do:

System Design & Integration

  • Develop system requirements, functional specifications, test plans, and technical documentation for ANM projects.
  • Design and implement data interfaces between internal digital solutions and external systems.
  • Integrate control systems, field instrumentation, measurement devices, and test equipment for production deployments.

Configuration, Testing & Commissioning

  • Configure, test, and commission ANM platforms in both pre-production and live environments.
  • Participate in onsite system commissioning, ensuring successful deployment and performance.
  • Support ongoing lifecycle activities, including updates, troubleshooting, and enhancements.

Technical Collaboration & Innovation

  • Work closely with engineering, product, and project teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, research, and industry trends in smart grid and power systems.
  • Identify potential product improvements and new solution opportunities aligned with Digital Solutions capabilities.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Support a positive and professional image of the Digital Solutions Department through effective communication and service.

What You Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Controls, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3–5 years of experience in power systems, power quality, battery energy storage systems (BESS), FACTS devices, or related areas.
  • Skills & Expertise:
    • Knowledge of automation control platforms, communication protocols, and IT networking practices.
    • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and system documentation processes.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
    • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
