Digitalization Lead - Sales and Distribution

Job Description

Digitalization Lead - Sales and Distribution positions offered by ABB Inc. (New Berlin, Wisconsin). Serve as a process lead and application expert in sales and distribution functional area to drive system implementation of SAP and non-SAP solutions. Support global and local business digitalization transformation strategy by executing assigned projects or continuous improvement actions. Partner with stakeholders and users from business functions to identify value stream improvement opportunities and translate business needs to information system demand requirements. Identify, create, and facilitate technical and process design changes by conducting business and systems analysis and design at a complex level in SAP; focusing on quality improvement; system availability, security, data reliability; re-engineering processes and recommending elimination. Lead user acceptance testing and system cutover activities when applicable. Support key users in testing, training, and documentation management. Build and leverage automation to decrease overall system deployment and support cycle time. Follow ABB project management gate model project management guidelines and manage assigned projects with quality.

Minimum Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field and 8 years of experience implementing SAP Sales and Distribution processes and solutions.
  • Must have 8 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Implementing SAP S/4 Hana or SAP ECC;
  • Analyzing business processes in sales operations, manufacturing warranty, or logistics management and integration with non-ERP applications;
  • Communicating updates to cross-functional stakeholders and identifying business needs and demand requirements;
  • Leading projects across multiple sites and countries;
  • Performing quotation, pricing configuration, and order management using SAP SD modules; and
  • Using eCommerce solutions, including implementing EDI with customers in ANSI EDI format, implementing customer portals, or working with Optical Character Recognition (OCR), or system-to-system punch out capabilities.
  • Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
