The Role: The Dimensional Inspector ensures the quality of all products produced within the organization meets all internal/external standards by performing product testing and collecting / entering raw data into the specific inspection logs. This individual should have the ability to work as a team, make decisions about the parts they are handling, and work closely with their supervisor to ensure the proper handling of parts and job duties. Being a friendly, self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills is necessary for this role.
Responsibilities:
Inspects for dimensional accuracy and surface defects by reading blueprints and using
calipers, micrometers, height gage, etc.
Perform visual and accurate dimensional inspections on parts throughout the manufacturing process to ensure conformance with standards and requirements.
Complete inspection records and reports and record data accordingly and accurately.
Identify and report non-conformances. Follow non-conformance procedure and document acceptance after re-work or other approved repairs.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
5-10 years of experience; High school degree or GED; or Equivalent years of experience
