What a Day Looks Like

On first shift, you’re in at 6:00 AM reviewing prints and setting up checks. On second shift, you own the floor from mid-afternoon into the night — with a 10% differential rewarding your focus when production is humming. You’ll move between a Coordinate Measuring Machine and the bench, confirming critical dimensions and documenting results that drive quality decisions.

Core Responsibilities

• Inspect precision‑machined components to stringent tolerances
• Perform dimensional inspections using CMM equipment
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to plan inspections
• Measure with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools
• Record inspection outcomes and contribute to quality initiatives

Schedule & Compensation

• Pay: $25.00–$40.00 per hour
• 2nd shift differential: +10%
• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM–3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
