The Dining Marketing Student Intern for Dining Services is a student role with a focus on content creation and increasing Middlebury Dining's social media presence and student engagement with campus Dining/ Retail. The position focuses on promoting dining programs, events, and initiatives and collaborating with Dining and Retail Managers on various marketing campaigns throughout the year.
This is a Middlebury student Level B position paying $14.95 per hour.
Core Responsibilities:
- Create content for existing social media platforms to boost views and student engagement.
- Provide information to students on Dining Hall menus and upcoming events.
- Promote student participation in Dining Meal Plans, the "to-go box" system, the GetMobile app, and Nutrislice.
- Cultivate strong relationships with Dining staff and students.
- Generate creative, sustainable marketing strategies that increase patronage at Retail Dining operations (The Grille, Midd Express, Crossroads, The Den, Concessions, Community Table).
- Ensure brand consistency and adherence to college policies and guidelines.
- Prepare quarterly reports on marketing efforts throughout the year and brainstorm with the team on future campaigns/ priorities.
