Job Overview: The dining room host/hostess is a servant-hearted individual dedicated to creating a warm and hospitable atmosphere for every guest who visits, while maintaining a clean atmosphere for guests to dine and socialize comfortably.
Pay: $15-$17/hr depending on experience
Availability: 7:00am-10:00pm
Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Fluent in speaking English
- Be able to stand/walk up to 100 feet at a time, over a period of four hours without a break
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds without restrictions
- Be able to work with basic restaurant cleaning chemicals and tools with no restrictions or allergies
- Gain knowledge of all menu items and in-restaurant events
- Be able to handle a fast-paced and quickly-changing work environment
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Keep the dining room & restrooms clean to Chick-fil-A’s standards. Cleaning tasks include, but may not be limited to, cleaning off table tops, sweeping and mopping dining room floors, and cleaning doors and windows.
- Engage our guests with a servant-hearted mindset, hospitality, and care by asking if they need refills on beverages, clear trays and check if they need any sauces etc.
- Always go the second-mile while caring for our guests
- Create special moments by surprising & delighting guests
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues promptly
