    Join our Dining Leadership team at Covenant Living of Keene as a Dining Room Manager in Keene, NH. Covenant Living of Keene is a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) within the not-for-profit Covenant Living organization.

    The Dining Room Manager provides supervision of service operations in the Dining Room to ensure customer enjoyment and satisfaction. The Dining Room Manager contributes to account revenue and operating profit contribution through the implementation of services and creation of opportunities for growth.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Directs daily operations of food delivery and service operations of the Dining Room.  Ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory, and resources to perform their jobs.  Includes overseeing all dining room operations, such as waited table service, food bars, and buffet lines.

    • Manages inventory, including food, equipment, and dining room supplies.

    • Ensures dining room experience is clean, neat, and fully stocked.  Ensures dining room is an excellent experience for customers.

    • Ensure compliance with all sanitation guidelines and federal / state regulations.  Ensure compliance with Senior Living / Healthcare requirements.

    • Train, coach and mentor employees with an active customer hospitality orientation.

    • Establish and maintain operating and safety standards.  Implement process improvements.

    • Scheduling of 40 team members including supporting shift coverage

    • Completing annual reviews of all reporting team members

    • Catering knowledge including but not limited to setup, breakdown, client meetings and program support

    • Bar and alcohol handling and knowledge preferred

    • Knowledge of computer programs such as, Word, Power Point, Excel, and restaurant point of sale systems

    Required Degree:  High school diploma

    Certificate(s): Food safety certifications

    Experience: 

    • 3+ years of work experience in dining required

    • 2+ year of experience in dining leadership preferred

    • Formal dining room operations experience preferred

    Compensation Pay Range:

    $56,028.00 - $77,120.25 per year

    Reasonable Pay Estimate

    A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $56,028.00 - $77,120.25 per year. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
