Position Summary

The Dining Server is responsible for delivering exceptional dining service to residents while helping create a warm, enjoyable, and respectful dining experience.

This position supports meal service operations by assisting residents during mealtimes, maintaining dining room cleanliness, and collaborating closely with culinary and caregiving teams to ensure excellent service and resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, attentive, dependable, and passionate about hospitality and serving seniors.

Responsibilities
  • Serve meals and beverages to residents in a professional and friendly manner
  • Assist with dining room setup and cleanup
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout dining service
  • Build positive relationships with residents and families
  • Observe resident needs and communicate concerns appropriately
  • Support residents during mealtimes with patience and attentiveness
  • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen, caregiving, and leadership teams
  • Help create a welcoming and enjoyable dining atmosphere
Qualifications
  • Previous server, dining, hospitality, restaurant, or senior living experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Compassionate and resident-focused attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable attendance and strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and positivity throughout shifts
