Dining Services Aide, 4pm - 8pm

Your Role:As a Dining Services Aide, you will be an integral part of our culinary team, ensuring that residents have clean, sanitary and organized environments to enjoy their meals. Your responsibilities will include: The primary responsibility is using large dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize glassware, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, and other dining utensils to uphold the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.From time to time, dining aides may assist with the high-quality meal service, including dining room set-up and tear down, meal prep, dessert preparation, beverage service, and other tasks as needed.At all times, dining aides will be of assistance to the kitchen operations by assisting with set up and sanitization of designated working areas, kitchen stocking and upkeep, and maintaining cleanliness and organization. Requirements:The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualities: When assigned to the dishwashing role, ability to lift heavy items, work around hot water and chemicals and wear gloves during significant portions of each shift is necessary.Dependability and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of residents and the dining services team.Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and react quickly in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to upholding food safety and sanitation standards.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional service to seniors.Previous experience in food service or hospitality is not required. Training will be provided for motivated individuals eager to learn and grow in this role.Ability to understand instructions, respond to resident questions, and follow through with assignments by using the English language. ServSafe certification required within 10 days of hire. ClarkLindsey can assist with coordinating this process. Benefits and Compensation: The pay range for this position is $16.60 - $17.70 per hour and is based on experience. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.
