Compensation: $13 to $15
Shift: 6AM to 230PM, 6AM to 2PM, 1130AM to 8PM
Position Summary:
Wesley Manor Retirement Community is currently seeking a friendly and dedicated full-time Senior Living Dining Aide to join our team. As a Dining Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our senior residents have a positive dining experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting with meal preparation, serving meals, and providing excellent customer service to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, setting up food stations, and ensuring food is properly cooked and presented
- Serve meals to residents in a courteous and efficient manner
- Assist residents with special dietary needs or restrictions, ensuring their meals meet their specific requirements
- Clean and sanitize dining areas before and after meals
- Set up dining tables and ensure they are properly arranged and stocked with necessary items
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing any concerns or requests in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff and other dining aides to ensure smooth and efficient meal service
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe dining environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy trays or equipment as needed
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to serving seniors
