Join our team as a Front of House Dining Services Supervisor! Are you a passionate and experienced hospitality professional ready to lead with excellence? The Loomis Communities is seeking a dynamic Front of House Dining Services Supervisor at our Applewood Independent Living location to elevate the dining experience and our diverse catering functions. Reporting to the Dining Director and serving as a vital member of our leadership team, you'll be instrumental in shaping unforgettable moments for our residents, team members, and guests.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for ensuring that all dining venues are properly staffed and dinner service executed according to The Loomis Communities standard of hospitality.
2. Oversees the Country Store, as well as training and compliance with Point of Service system for the dining servers.
3. Connects with residents to orient them to dining amenities, learns about preferences and dining expectations, manages resident billing and responds to billing questions.
4. Contributes to daily pre shift meetings and co-facilitates monthly training and operational update meetings with dining team members.
5. Communicates timely to review changes, new initiatives, and updates that may impact service.
6. Works a flexible schedule as determined by the Dining Director, with an emphasis on working during the hours when meals are being served.
7. Ensures that the restaurants meet the standard of cleanliness and orderliness consistent with service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required
• Hospitality Degree preferred
• 1-3 years in the hospitality field with 1 year of supervisory/oversight responsibilities required
• Computer skills required; experience with POS system preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills required
• Knowledge of food service sanitation standards preferred
