A Chick-fil-A dining room host's job is to provide a great guest experience by greeting customers, maintaining cleanliness, and helping with their needs. Some of their responsibilities include: 

  • Greeting guests: Smiling, making eye contact, and speaking enthusiastically 
  • Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, wiping windows and doors, changing trash, and cleaning restrooms 
  • Refilling drinks: Touching in with tables and refreshing beverages 
  • Maintaining the store: Restocking supplies and ensuring the store is clean and welcoming 
  • Communicating: Communicating effectively with guests and team members 
  • Following rules: Adhering to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code 
  • Working as a team: Being team-oriented and adaptable 
  • Working on your feet: Working on your feet for several hours at a time
