General Functions:
The employee in this classification shall report to the PROMISE Program Director but has external responsibilities to other and authority with Treatment Coordinators and Directors in Behavioral Health & Re-Entry Services regarding training and treatment. The responsibilities are managerial in function, with the coordination of: providing direct supervision to case management staff and ensuring clients receive appropriate services based on assessed need, and supports the overall treatment component of the program, ensures the provision of treatment program in both the treatment and work release phase of the program, provide specific training for the reentry division, sanction treatment and training modalities for the agency through a lead role with Treatment Coordinators.
* Ensure all assessments and services plans are completed for all clients
* Ensure clients are referred to appropriate services.
* Develop a group treatment schedule and run groups when needed.
* Coordinate all psychiatric and clinical consultant appointments for clients.
5. Conduct weekly treatment team and individual meetings with core curriculum coaches to:
* Provide supervision to treatment team
* Ensure individual and group progress notes are completed timely and accurately.
* Ensure that pre and post assessments and client satisfaction surveys are completed.
6. Conduct case reviews and coordinate clinical consultation on a weekly basis with staff, consultants (psychiatric nurse practitioner/psychiatrist), and or clients; including reviews of medication records.
7. Develop and implement in-service training component on evidence-based interventions, accreditation standards, and contract obligations for all treatment staff.
8. Network with other community agencies to develop alternate resources for treatment support and aftercare.
9. Carry a small-specialized caseload, if necessary.
10. Collect data to support research/outcomes initiatives and treatment coordination schedule.
11. Ensure there is a continuum of mental health services from residential to permanent housing levels of care.
12. Participate as a member of the agency Peer Review Committee.
13. Supervise interns14. Other duties as assigned.
Credentials/Abilities:The Employee in this position must have Masters degree in one of the helping professions with four years directly related experience, a license in the State of New Jersey as an LCSW, LSW,
