The Director of System Labor Productivity and Optimization will lead INTEGRIS Health's systemwide labor productivity strategy, with a focus on productivity outcomes and results. This role is a key partner to executive leadership, operations, and HR, providing strategic direction for labor optimization and target achievement. This position provides operational expertise related to workforce efficiency, productivity benchmarking, and stat standardization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in healthcare finance, with a focus on system productivity management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

  • Previous experience managing labor productivity and collaborating with operational leaders.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare finance, productivity or a related field.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;

  • MBA, MHA or CPA required

SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in PowerBI and Microsoft Office applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE:

  • Familiarity with Vizient Operational Database.
  • Six Sigma Lean Practices

  • Serve as the system leader for labor productivity, integrating financial, clinical, and operational priorities into a cohesive labor productivity framework

  • Establish internal and external labor benchmarking to identify performance gaps and adopt best practices across the System

  • Develop and manage a high-performing finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective collaboration with operations

  • Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements

  • Partner with Workforce Optimization Committee to develop and implement position controls and labor management practices to be owned and managed by facility-level operations

  • Develop KPI's to monitor and encourage appropriate labor efficiencies

  • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership based on in-depth analysis of productivity metrics

  • Facilitate executive-level reviews of productivity and labor metrics, supporting data-driven decisions to achieve system labor targets and to drive improvement to Salaries, Wages and Benefits (SWG)

  • Establish and drive System initiatives for standardizing statistical metrics and ensuring their consistency across the System

  • Identify opportunities for improvement in pay practices

  • Collaborate with finance, nursing, and operational leaders to educate and empower them to manage labor and to drive productivity.

  • Facilitate executive-level reviews of productivity and labor metrics, supporting data-driven decisions to achieve system labor targets.

  • Monitor industry trends, technology innovations, and regulatory changes to continuously evolve the labor management approach.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to all levels of the organization.

  • Be detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
