Position Overview

• Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:15 PM)
• Schedule: Full-Time with alternating weekends
• Location: Reading, PA (2 blocks from Reading Hospital)
• Compensation & Growth: Great pay, supportive staff, and paid Med-Tech Certification training provided by The Villa. Pay raises available within the first 6 months.
• Insurance Assistance: Stipend provided to assist with insurance coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including showering, dressing, personal hygiene, mobility, transfers, and meal assistance.
• Independence & Engagement: Encourage resident independence wherever appropriate, while providing companionship and transportation coordination.
• Facility Maintenance: Perform routine housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and meal assistance to maintain a comfortable living space.
• Safety & Monitoring: Assist residents and conduct safety bed checks throughout the shift/night.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Previous experience in a senior healthcare setting (Personal Care Home, Assisted Living, or Hospital) is preferred.
• Compassionate, dependable, and dedicated to elderly care.
