Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers in Dearborn, MI. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and errands.
• Observe and report any changes in clients’ conditions to supervisors or medical personnel.
• Follow care plans and ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided.

Requirements

• Previous experience in direct care or personal care preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy.
• Reliable and dependable work ethic.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks required by the job.
