Direct Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to provide high-quality support to our clients in St. Clair Shores, MI. As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the daily lives of individuals by assisting with personal care and promoting independence in a respectful and caring environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and support to enhance clients’ social and emotional well-being.
• Monitor clients’ health and communicate any changes or concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and clean living environment for clients.
• Document care and maintain accurate records as required.
• Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure quality and compliance.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a caregiving or support role is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate and respectful care to clients.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to pass background checks.
