About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical/Piping Engineer to join our client's team in the engineering sector. In this role, you will contribute to supporting the Engineering Lead and Product Engineering Manager, ensuring the accuracy, reliability, efficiency, and safety of mechanical and piping systems in large-scale data centers.

Responsibilities

• Checking and approving drawings, information, and documentation to meet industrial standards and codes.
• Review and monitor engineering work to assure accuracy and conformance with specifications and codes.
• Prepare Technical Requisitions for mechanical systems and components.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase and address any issues that arise.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 2 to 10 years’ experience in mechanical design and engineering, with a focus on data center infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite, CAESAR II, NozzlePro, and FEPipe.
• Strong knowledge in piping and fire suppression system design and construction.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

• Professional Engineering license (Strongly Preferred).
• Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) software.
• Experience in negotiating with regulatory agencies regarding departures from code.
