Job Title: DCN Project Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our client's team in the data center infrastructure sector. In this role, you will contribute to the design, engineering, and delivery of modular data center infrastructure projects, ensuring successful project delivery from design through execution.
Responsibilities
- Support the Engineering Manager and take ownership of key technical aspects of data center projects.
- Coordinate with Sales, Project Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead technical discussions and provide guidance to engineering team members.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Ensure designs meet customer requirements, industry standards, safety regulations, and engineering best practices.
- Create and review engineering deliverables, including equipment lists, valve lists, piping layouts, and line lists.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for clients.
- Participate in design reviews, customer meetings, site visits, and commissioning activities.
- Stay current on data center technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (other engineering disciplines may be considered with relevant experience).
- Minimum 7 years of mechanical engineering and design experience, preferably within industrial facilities.
- Experience with mechanical systems, piping systems, and fire suppression systems.
- Strong understanding of engineering codes, standards, and industry regulations.
- Experience producing and reviewing technical drawings and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Experience with SolidWorks, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Navisworks.
- Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations, including but not limited to AISI, ANSI, ASME, ASTM, AWS, IBC, MFMA, OSHA, NACE, NFPA, PFI.
