Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles and equipment, including trucks, tractors, trailers, and forklifts. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, along with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks, tractors, trailers, and forklifts
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and components
- Conduct engine, transmission, brake, and hydraulic system repairs
- Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Respond to breakdowns and perform on-site repairs when needed
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience working on heavy-duty trucks, tractors, trailers, and forklifts
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and electrical repair
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Welding or fabrication experience is a plus
