Direct Hire - Operations Support Technician

FieldBridge is looking for an Operations Support Technician in Florence, KY to work for the world's largest oilfield services company. This position is a Direct placement with our client.

Pay/Schedule: $60,000 - $70,000/year | Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM in office | 10-50% travel per month to customer sites nationwide . OT likely during travel weeks.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Operations Support Technician to serve as a field service representative for industrial separation and screening equipment, operating out of the Florence, KY global headquarters. Client is a world leader in particle separation and size-reduction solutions, manufacturing round and rectangular separators, centrifuges, grinding mills, and aftermarket screens used across the pharmaceutical, chemical, food, and industrial sectors. In this role, you will travel to customer sites nationwide to start up large industrial sifters, perform preventative maintenance, execute warranty repairs, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions. You will also support our centrifuge RTA rebuild program, physically rebuilding centrifuge units returned from customer sites and preparing them for redeployment. This is a highly hands-on technical role combining shop work, field service, and customer-facing support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform equipment startups, preventative maintenance, and on-site warranty repairs for large industrial sifters, separators, and centrifuges at customer facilities nationwide
• Rebuild and maintain centrifuge units as part of our Return to Availability program in the Florence shop
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and provide technical support via phone, written communication, and on-site visits
• Conduct field tests, quality audits, and safety audits as requested and complete detailed technical product and problem reports
• Maintain open communication between field operations, customer service, and sales management to support customer needs and business objectives

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical assembly experience required
• Welding experience required; certification or trade school completion preferred
• Valid driver's license required; ability to obtain CDL to drive trucks upon hire
• Willingness and ability to travel 10-50% of the month, with potential for extended travel periods
• Electrical background and mechanical aptitude preferred
• Familiarity with ISO 9000 requirements and continuous improvement methods preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction in a fast-paced customer-facing environment
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
