Responsible for managing and maintaining manufacturing documentation in an EMS environment, including BOMs, Gerber files, assembly drawings, work/test instructions, product data, and engineering changes. Works closely with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Management to ensure accurate, compliant, and production-ready documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage BOMs, Gerber files, assembly drawings, work instructions, and test documentation.
Create and maintain product and revision-specific manufacturing documentation.
Coordinate Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and document revisions.
Create manufacturing assembly drawings and generate machine programming data from CAD files.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate and compliant documentation.
Support new product launches, production schedules, and documentation releases.
Ensure compliance with IPC, ISO 9001, RoHS, and customer requirements.
Support audits and improve document control processes and systems.
Qualifications
5+ years of documentation or product data experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Understanding of circuit board design, components, and polarity.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, IPC, and RoHS standards.
Experience with ERP systems; SAP Business One preferred.
Experience with CAD/documentation software such as AutoCAD or GC Prevue.
Aegis FactoryLogix experience preferred.
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
