The ideal candidate holds an active Texas Escrow Officer license, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and is eager to grow beyond conventional Texas practice.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesTexas Escrow OperationsManage escrow transactions from contract to close, in compliance with Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) requirements and applicable Texas Property CodeVerify title commitments, loan documents, and borrower information to ensure accuracy and regulatory complianceFacilitate clear communication among buyers, sellers, lenders, and attorneys throughout the transaction lifecyclePrepare settlement statements, closing disclosures, and all required Texas closing documents with precisionMaintain thorough and audit‑ready escrow files and transaction recordsNational Settlement SupportAssist the national settlement/closing department with remote and hybrid closings across multiple statesAdapt to varying state‑specific requirements, settlement procedures, and document packages outside of TexasCollaborate with the national operations team to ensure consistent service delivery, compliance, and turnaround standardsGeneral DutiesVerify borrower information and loan underwriting documentationPrepare commitments, policies, disclosures, and closing documents accurately and efficiently using industry software platformsContribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency across Texas and national operationsQualificationsRequiredActive Texas Escrow Officer License issued by the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) — requiredProven experience as an escrow officer or settlement agent in Texas residential and/or commercial real estate transactionsStrong working knowledge of the Texas title insurance industry, TDI regulations, and Texas‑specific closing requirementsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent transactions across different regulatory environmentsProficiency in preparing and reviewing closing disclosures, HUD‑1/ALTA settlement statements, contracts, and escrow instructionsStrong written and verbal communication skills; ability to maintain professionalism and clarity under deadline pressurePreferredExperience with settlement/closing operationsFamiliarity with remote online notarization (RON) platforms and remote closing workflowsKnowledge of ALTA Best Practices and national title underwriter guidelinesExperience supporting both purchase and refinance transactions in a high‑volume environmentProficiency in Qualia and SoftPro preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
