    Role Overview

    Join us full-time as a Machine Operator in our direct mail manufacturing environment. You'll operate and assist with production equipment to reduce cost-related errors, exceed client expectations, and maintain a safe workplace.     Schedule: 10-hour shift, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (overtime as needed)

    What You'll Do

    • Operate and maintain production equipment used in direct mail manufacturing.
    • Set up and adjust machines according to job instructions and SOPs.
    • Meet or exceed production targets while upholding customer quality standards.
    • Communicate job status and any production concerns during shift change.
    • Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times.
    • Adhere to current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Troubleshoot issues quickly to minimize downtime.
    • Inform management of developing problems and recommended corrective actions.
    • Respond with urgency when equipment is down to meet production requirements.
    • Continuously learn and improve processes to drive productivity.
    • Promote teamwork within the shift and across shifts.
    • Take on additional duties as needed to support team success.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • High school diploma or GED

    Experience

    • 2 years of manufacturing experience (preferred)

    Skills & Abilities

    • Strong manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and troubleshooting capability; able to install, maintain, and repair equipment while following safety guidelines.
    • Knowledge of predictive and productive maintenance systems.
    • Comfortable standing for long periods, bending, and performing repetitive motions.
    • Ability to move and lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 40 lbs occasionally.
    • Ability to stand on concrete for 10–12 hours.
    • Willingness to work overtime when needed.
    • Reliable and punctual; able to follow written and verbal instructions; eager to learn and accountable for quality.
    • Clear communicator with solid interpersonal skills; works well independently and as part of a team.
    • Strict adherence to safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out (LOTO), HazCom, and departmental SOPs.
    • Proficient in machine setups for production runs.
