Role Overview
Join us full-time as a Machine Operator in our direct mail manufacturing environment. You'll operate and assist with production equipment to reduce cost-related errors, exceed client expectations, and maintain a safe workplace. Schedule: 10-hour shift, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (overtime as needed)

What You'll Do
- Operate and maintain production equipment used in direct mail manufacturing.
- Set up and adjust machines according to job instructions and SOPs.
- Meet or exceed production targets while upholding customer quality standards.
- Communicate job status and any production concerns during shift change.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Adhere to current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Troubleshoot issues quickly to minimize downtime.
- Inform management of developing problems and recommended corrective actions.
- Respond with urgency when equipment is down to meet production requirements.
- Continuously learn and improve processes to drive productivity.
- Promote teamwork within the shift and across shifts.
- Take on additional duties as needed to support team success.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or GED
Experience
- 2 years of manufacturing experience (preferred)
Skills & Abilities
- Strong manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and troubleshooting capability; able to install, maintain, and repair equipment while following safety guidelines.
- Knowledge of predictive and productive maintenance systems.
- Comfortable standing for long periods, bending, and performing repetitive motions.
- Ability to move and lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 40 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to stand on concrete for 10–12 hours.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Reliable and punctual; able to follow written and verbal instructions; eager to learn and accountable for quality.
- Clear communicator with solid interpersonal skills; works well independently and as part of a team.
- Strict adherence to safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out (LOTO), HazCom, and departmental SOPs.
- Proficient in machine setups for production runs.
