Direct Marketing Coordinator

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests in accordance with the GILA WAY standards.
• Plans, executes, and manages multi-channel direct marketing campaigns, including direct mail, email, SMS, and digital audience targeting.
• Coordinates database segmentation and selection criteria to support marketing programs and player development initiatives .
• Collaborates with the Corporate Direct Marketing Manager to define and deliver campaign strategies, testing plans, and performance goals.
• Works within casino management and marketing cloud systems to extract, manage, and validate player data for campaign targeting and tracking.
• Partners with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate production, delivery, and measurement of all marketing campaigns.
• Monitors, audits, and maintains data quality, performing regular database cleanup and standardization activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Ensures that all marketing communications comply with applicable data protection, gaming, and privacy regulations, including CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and enterprise data policies.
• Writes and proofs promotional content and coupon copy for direct mail and digital communications.
• Assists with the maintenance of marketing databases, ensuring synchronization with business objectives and system limitations.
• Supports marketing automation workflows and assists in the configuration and scheduling of campaign deployments.
• Provides database and campaign support to other departments as needed.
• Maintains a dependable attendance record and demonstrates a professional attitude and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
• Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

This position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.

2. Experience in database or direct marketing campaign coordination required; experience in a gaming or hospitality environment preferred.

3. Knowledge of casino management systems, customer relationship management (CRM), and marketing cloud platforms preferred.

4. Must possess excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional correspondence and presentation abilities.

6. Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing data and interpreting campaign performance metrics.

7. Ability to maintain compliance with enterprise policies, data regulations, and technical standards related to marketing communications.

8. Must possess excellent guest service skills, strong telephone etiquette, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

9. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, vendors, and team members.

10. Within one year of hire, must acquire an in-depth knowledge of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, relevant gaming regulations, and data management rules applicable to this position.

COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS

Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, CRM and marketing automation platforms, and data visualization tools.

Familiarity with data segmentation, campaign tracking, and compliance systems preferred.
