Direct Sales | $26/hour + 5% commission 

Monday-Thursday 7:00am-4:00pm Friday 7:00am-12:00pm

A Sioux City area distribution company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Direct Sales professional to join their sales team. This role is integral to driving revenue growth through proactive engagement with prospective clients and managing existing accounts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales, business development, and territory management, with a proven ability to generate leads and close high-value deals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence market expansion, build lasting customer relationships, and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new business opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Conduct outbound cold calling and outreach to identify potential clients and generate qualified leads.
  • Present product demonstrations and technical solutions tailored to client needs, emphasizing value propositions.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation, closing, and post-sale account management.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status using CRM software such as Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support lead generation efforts.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify upselling opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue potential.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and territory management.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and strategic insights to management.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in outside sales, B2B sales, and territory management across diverse industries.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms for lead tracking and customer relationship management.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close complex deals effectively.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and techniques that support business development initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in technical or technology-related sales environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging diverse audiences across different regions.
  • Ability to perform product demos confidently while addressing technical questions.
  • Skilled in analysis and strategic planning to optimize territory coverage and sales outcomes.
  • Experience with inside sales techniques including cold calling, follow-ups, and virtual presentations.
  • Proven leadership capabilities in managing accounts and guiding clients through the sales process. Compensation & Pay:

  • $26/hr + 5% commission on products sold
  • Paid every Friday
  • Direct Deposit and/or Paycards Available
