OPERATIONS JOB DESCRIPTION
PAY GRADE 4
 
POSITION:  Direct Sales Specialist
 
BASIC FUNCTION:  Help maintain processes for the E-Commerce/Direct sales channels. This shall include any reporting, inventory taking, product selections, customer support functions, listing and shipping functions related to supporting the sales activities in E-Commerce and direct sales activities.
 
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Scan inventory out of systems
  2. Be able to identify and maintain current load numbers on all various types of electronic devices and items to be sold through an online sales and direct sales avenue.
  3. Identify iOS, Android, and other devices. Sort unknown condition items (purple dot) into eCommerce and Direct Sales channels
  4. Maintain inventory price list for locked and broken products
  5. Scan items into Direct Sales Invoicing software, maintain a list of orders being built and shipped. Must be able to ensure all products are correctly identified by device, model and condition
  6. Assist with inventory counts and maintaining desired quantities of product for the different retail venues
  7. Maintain an efficient work space and adhere to all standard operating procedures for all product encountered
  1. Empty trash as needed and maintain an organized and clean work area                                                                                                                                                                       
  1. Prepare and maintain shipments of all items sold through a direct sales channel this includes stacking boxes on pallet, wrap and band pallet, and move pallets to shipping dock
  2. Keep accurate load data information on all items to be potentially sold through a direct sales channel    
  3. Manage inventory for eListers – pull items from pricers that are designated for eCommerce and disperse among eListers                                                                                                                                     
  1. Work overtime as needed to maintain efficient product flow, online sales, and levels of product
  2. Assist in product selection for listing online sales and distribute requested product needs to other sales channels
  3. Maintain accurate product inventory counts and keep product in an organized fashion
  4. Keep necessary paperwork and files required for any related product 
  5. Order boxes or other supplies as needed for online sales shipping
  6. Must be able to work independently
  1. Other duties as assigned by management                    
                   
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Be able to stand or sit for extended lengths of time
  2. Must be able to work on computer for extended periods of time
  3. Must be able to lift light to heavily weighted items regularly

  8. Must be dependable and have a good attendance record
 
 
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Computer and typing skills necessary
  3. Computer classes and/or knowledge needed
 
SCHEDULED HOURS:
  1. 40 hour week, 6:00am-2:30pm, Mon-Fri, mandatory overtime as needed
  2. Saturday overtime may be required as necessary.
  3. Mandatory work days are the Friday before Memorial Day, the day before the 4th of July, the Friday before Labor Day, the Friday before Ski Sale and the Saturday before Thanksgiving
  4. Required to sign up for and potentially work one Holiday per year on the retail floor
 
 
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:  Reports directly to Electronics Manager
