Pony Bird is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team to enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities. STARTING PAY OF $18.00 PER HOUR PLUS DIFFERENTIALSEVENING SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL $2.00 PER HOUR | MIDNIGHT SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL $2.50 PER HOUR | WEEKEND SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL $2.00 PER HOUR EXCELLENT BENEFITSPAID TRAININGWhat does a Direct Support Professional do?Support individuals to reach their full life potentialMaintain quality of life with dignity and respectAssist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) and provide total care supportsEncourage independence to the individual's capacityServe as a positive role model to promote appropriate adult behaviorProvide accurate documentation Adhere and implement Individual Support PlansAssure a safe, clean home environment upholding accreditation standards and regulationsTeam-player who can also work independentlyAbility to travel independently while driving agency vehicles to provide transportation for individuals servedMaintain attendance according to the policy of the agency and positionSchedule and Work Location:Day Shift 6:00am - 2:00pm or 6:30am - 2:30pm *Required to work every other weekendEvening Shift 2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.  Required to work every other weekendArnoldQualifications:High School diploma or GEDMinimum of 21 years of ageValid driver's license in good standingInterpersonal communication skillsAbility to follow oral and written directions and problem solveAbility to evacuate individuals served in the event of a fire, natural disaster, or another emergencyMust be able to perform CPR and crisis intervention techniques, paid training provided.
