Provide supports for persons with intellectual disabilities at the individual's home.
General Accountabilities
Train residents in self-care practices.
Converses with residents to promote social interaction.
Observes and documents residents' behaviors and progress.
Attends to routine health care needs of residents under supervision of MAS Nurse.
Gives medications as prescribed.
Assist with daily activities within the home.
Maintain a clean home and work environment.
Meal preparation
Administers oral medication written under doctor prescription.
Accompany individuals outside of home within the community.
Monitor status/health of individual being cared for.

Job Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Able to pass MAC 1 training
Able to obtain CPR First Aid
