About the Role:
Your Every Need Residential in Cleveland, OH is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join their team. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility
• Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
• Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed
• Transport clients to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities
• Foster independence and community integration through skill-building activities
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred
• Valid Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
