Community Bridges is seeking 1 Part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our Day Program in Franklin, NH.
Founded in 1982, Community Bridges is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the integration, growth, and interdependence of people with developmental disabilities within their communities. We support more than 1,100 individuals and families throughout the Greater Capital Area by identifying barriers, developing creative solutions, and fostering meaningful community engagement.
As a Day Program Direct Support Professional, you will promote abilities-not disabilities by supporting individuals in building skills, confidence, and meaningful connections within their community. You will help identify and build upon each person's unique strengths, interests, and gifts to encourage social inclusion.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience:
Experience in human services or working with individuals with disabilities preferred
Additional Requirements:

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus
$500 paid at hire
$500 paid after 6 months
Bonus applies to new hires only; rehires and transfers are not eligible. Bonus for full time employees only.
Paid Time Off (PTO):

Less-Than-Part-Time:
Franklin – 15 hours/week
Part-time positions may be combined to create full-time hours.
Support individuals in building self-esteem and independence through planned activities and community involvement
Provide individualized supports, including personal care and skill development
Assist individuals in presenting and maintaining a positive self-image
Participate in Person-Centered Planning and implementation of goals
Complete required documentation, including data collection and monthly progress notes
Maintain compliance with all required state and agency trainings (Relias and in-person)
Report safety, health, or human rights concerns immediately
Ensure compliance with applicable state regulations
Perform other duties as assigned
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Physical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent walking and standing; occasional stair climbing
Ability to push wheelchairs and operate lifts as needed
Ability to follow behavioral intervention techniques
Access to a personal vehicle during all scheduled work hours
Frequent travel with supported individuals
Valid NH driver's license and safe driving record
