Direct Support Professional- Day Program Instructors

Are you passionate about helping individuals with special needs develop essential life skills and reach their full potential? If so, New Horizons is looking for an engaging Day Program Instructors. In this role, you will be responsible for providing hands-on instruction and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in various life skills areas.

No experience necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Rate: $23.00/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am - 4pm (32.5 hours a week)

Requirements

• Must speak English
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with special needs / developmental disabilities is a plus
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid California Driver's License and a driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier
• Legally driving for at least 3 years
• Must be willing to drive an 8-passenger van
• Must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including background check, drug screening, and physical/TB
• Authorized to work in the United States
