The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides essential personal care and support to individuals, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional comfort throughout daily routines. This role involves assisting with medication, monitoring behavior, and preparing meals, operating primarily as an individual contributor with routine daily tasks.
Responsibilities
Assist with personal care and hygiene tasks
Provide medication assistance as prescribed
Document client progress and activities accurately
Monitor and report behavior changes
Supervise safety during daily activities
Prepare meals according to dietary needs
Offer emotional support to clients
Required Qualifications
Entry-level experience in direct support or caregiving
High school diploma or equivalent
