As a DSP, you will work closely with individuals in their homes and within the community, providing support to enhance their overall quality of life. The primary focus of this role is to assist individuals in achieving their personal goals and fostering independence by engaging in various activities and tasks. - Provide one-on-one support tailored to the unique needs and preferences of each individual. - Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes socialization and community engagement. - Support individuals in developing and enhancing daily living skills to promote independence. - Identify and implement opportunities for skill-building activities and experiences. - Maintain open and effective communication with individuals, their families, and other team members. - Collaborate with case managers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to care. - Complete accurate and timely documentation of daily activities, achievements, and any incidents as required. Qualifications: ### Minimum Education Required No education requirements! ### Minimum Experience Required Entry level position! Experience as a Direct Support Professional is preferred, but not required. Must be at least 16 years old Successful background clearance Able to work every other weekend/holiday If applicants doesn't have driver's license, please not that the location of the job is not close to a bus line and other forms of transportation will need to be accomodated.
