Creed Medical is seeking compassionate and dedicated female Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our team. In this role, you will provide personalized support and care to female individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting them with daily living activities and promoting their independence in a safe and respectful environment. You will work closely with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans and encourage community participation. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of women requiring support services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist female clients with personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Support clients in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.
- Facilitate social, recreational, and community activities to promote inclusion.
- Maintain accurate documentation and report any changes in client’s health or behavior.
- Provide emotional support and foster a safe, empowering environment for female clients.
- Collaborate with team members and families to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Female candidates preferred to provide gender-specific support.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in direct support or caregiving preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
