Stetson School is seeking compassionate and dependable Residential Counselors to care for groups of students in a structured, therapeutic residential setting. Pay: $21.00-$22.92/hour

About Stetson School Stetson School is a nationally accredited, trauma-informed residential and educational treatment program serving male youth and young adults ages 9-22. We believe consistency, structure, and relationships are essential to healing-and we support staff doing this important work.

Responsibilities

• Provide constant visual and auditory supervision of students
• Support daily routines, transitions, and unit structure
• Respond to student behavior using Stetson School policy and CPI principles
• Use least-restrictive therapeutic interventions when required
• Model respectful communication, healthy boundaries, and pro-social behavior
• Lead or support recreational, social, and skill-based activities
• Assist with student visits, phone calls, and family contact
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment
• Complete all required documentation and incident reporting each shift
• Transport students to appointments and activities as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, HiSET, or equivalent required
• Valid drivers license (Class C or D) required
• 0-3 years of related experience (human services, internships, or volunteer work accepted)
• Ability to maintain consistent attendance and work mandated shifts
• Willingness to obtain and maintain CPR, CPI, and First Aid certifications
