DSP Required Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old
Must have High School Diploma or GED
Physical capacity to lift a minimum of 50lbs, bend, kneel, crouch, sit/stand for periods of time, push, and pull
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Must have valid Auto insurance card
Have the ability to pass pre-employment background checks
Ability to work various shifts including afternoons, weekends, and/or overnight shifts
Must have a working vehicle that will be at the work site during working hours
DSP (Direct Support Professional) Job Description for DSP (Direct Support Professional) (included, but not limited to):
Maintaining Health and Safety of the individuals in your care while maintaining their living space.
Following the ISP (individual Service Plan) for the individuals being served.
Assist individuals in completing personal care activities (hygiene & grooming)
Assist with other life skills (meal preparation, housekeeping, shopping, medical/personal appointments, transportation, medication administration, etc.)
Be a positive role-model (manners, communication, interactions, etc.)
