We are offering $1,000 sign-on bonus to join our team!\n \nWhy you'll love working with us\n\n Flexible schedules that fit your life\n Competitive pay \u2014 starting wages of $18 - $20/hour (varies based on hours, service type, location, and experience)\n Paid training and career growth opportunities\n Health benefits, paid time off, and cash bonuses\n Mileage reimbursement\n Work that truly matters \u2014 helping people live with dignity and independence\n 40+ years of trusted care experience\n Veteran-friendly employer \u2014 we value your service and skills\n \nWhat you'll do\n \nAs a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities \u2014 both at home and in their community \u2014 helping them live as independently as possible.\n \nYour work may include:\n\n Reading, understanding and following the client's Individual Support Plan (ISP), and reporting back to the IDD Program Specialist\n Supporting individuals with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care (i.e. grooming, hygiene etc.), or transportation\n Encouraging participation in social and community activities \u2013 shopping, social events etc.\n Helping people achieve personal goals and celebrating progress\n Promoting choice, independence, and self-advocacy\n Accurately documenting care, activities, and progress\n Communicating with team members to ensure consistent, quality support\n \nWhat you need\n\n High school diploma or equivalent; or completion of a state approved training program; or demonstrate skills and receive a passing score on a written competency test\n Successful background check and required in-service trainings\n At least 18 years old\n Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance, inspection and registration\n Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients' homes and communities\n Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact\n New Hire Milestone Bonus: The $1,000 new hire milestone bonus is valid for caregivers that start on 6/22/2026 or later. This new hire bonus is paid in 8 increments, with the total accumulated $1,000 paid out after the caregiver has worked 1,000 hours from the start date. Caregivers must be active and must use electronic visit verification for hours to accumulate toward payout milestones. Caregivers transferring from an organization within the Help at Home, LLC portfolio of companies are not eligible to receive the bonus. Former employees must be returning after an absence period of at least one year to be eligible.
