What is an Enhanced Acuity Technician?
The Enhanced Acuity Technician is responsible for performing a variety of duties, such as, natural environment training, skills-based treatment, data collection, and intensive intervention services. The Enhanced Acuity Technician is responsible for providing direct support to individuals who reside at Damar Services. They also assist the treatment team, including the Manager, Supervisor, and Director and other members as designated, in the evaluation of clinical services.
What would I be doing?
Some duties include client supervision and care, crisis management, promoting appropriate social behaviors, and supporting clients in achieving their maximum potential.

• Demonstrates confidence when making decisions in the moment regarding Skills Based Treatment
• Completes and updates mandatory training and other licensure related items in a timely manner
• Attends mandatory staff meeting and other meetings as assigned
• Attends meetings, conferences, and workshops as recommended by the Enhanced Acuity leadership team
• Provides direct services to children
• Provides support to clients in completing programming goals, ADLs and independent living goals
• Operates Damar vehicles and/or personal vehicles to transport clients or perform other work-related duties
• Completes incident reports, including reporting any suspected exploitation, abuse, or neglect of a client
• Serves as a member of Damar Services’ interdisciplinary team

Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
