About the Position

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will help them achieve greater independence and enhance their quality of life through daily assistance, encouragement, and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and mobility
• Assist with community integration and participation in recreational activities
• Promote independence, self-advocacy, and personal growth
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
• Collaborate with team members, families, and other professionals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CMT Certification required
• CPR & First Aid required
• Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
• Ability to pass background checks and required training
