What Youll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, youll provide compassionate, person-centered support that promotes safety, dignity, and quality of life for individuals receiving services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation
  • Support individuals with daily routines while encouraging independence and personal choice
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful home environment
  • Monitor and report changes in residents health, behaviors, or overall well-being
  • Assist with transportation to appointments, community outings, and activities
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and team members to provide comprehensive support
  • Provide reliable care and support during scheduled evening, overnight, and weekend shifts

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Previous experience in medical, caregiving, healthcare, DSP, CNA, PCA, or related fields preferred but not required
  • Dependable, compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment
