- OVERNIGHT-Sundays (weekly) 10p-8a
Market Street (Womens House)
- M-F 3p-11p (starts 4/13)
PRN Available
REQUIRED to work at least one full 8-16 hr. shift per week to stay active PRN with SCSI

Job Summary: The DDA Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing direct
support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring that they receive the
necessary care, assistance, and support to live as independently as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Individual Support:
o Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal care,
dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
o Provide support with community integration activities, including
transportation, shopping, and leisure pursuits.
o Facilitate communication and social interaction, promoting positive
relationships.
o Assist with medication administration as directed by medical
professionals.
Behavior Management:
o Implement behavior support plans to address challenging behaviors and
promote positive outcomes.
o Provide crisis intervention when necessary, following established
protocols.
Documentation:
o Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of individual support,
including incident reports, progress notes, and daily logs.
Team Collaboration:
o Work collaboratively with other team members, including case managers,
therapists, and family members, to ensure comprehensive support for
individuals.
o Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
to enhance skills and knowledge.
Other Duties as assigned by management team
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to providing quality care and support
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift and transfer individuals
Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
Work Environment:
May work in various settings, including homes, community facilities, and day
programs
CPR Required
CMT Certification Required
MANDT (NOT required, but preferred)
MUST have reliable transportation and vehicle with clean driving record
