Direct Support Professional Spanish Speaking Preferred

Divine Homes Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one, person-centered support to an individual with developmental disabilities in Alexandria, VA.


Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred.


Responsibilities

•  Provide direct, person-centered support in the individual's home. 
•  Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care as needed. 
•  Support communication, social, and independent living skills. 
•  Assist with community outings and activities. 
•  Follow the individual's ISP and established support strategies. 
•  Promote independence, safety, and well-being. 
•  Complete required documentation and progress notes. 
•  Maintain professional communication with supervisors and family members. 

Requirements

•  High school diploma or GED. 
• Spanish-speaking preferred.
•  Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred. 
•  Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 
•  CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. 
•  Must be able to pass required background checks. 
•  Dependable, patient, compassionate, and professional.
