We are looking for Direct Support Professionals to help with our vision:Starting Pay: $16.00 /HourPurpose-SC is hiring Full Time Direct Support Professionals, to provide assistance to our program located in Summerville, SC.Purpose- SC provides meaningful and rewarding employment opportunities supporting children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide residential, educational, and recreational programs to support and improve the lives of those we serve in a caring and compassionate team environment.The DSP will provide a caring, respectful, and empowering environment for our clients. Direct Support Professionals work with clients on individual goals to achieve the highest level of independence. This will ensure that evidence-based practices are utilized to ensure a comprehensive therapeutic program is provided for the individuals served.Minimum Qualifications:HS Diploma or equivalentMust be at least 21 years of age,Ability to read and write in EnglishValid South Carolina license, if applicableRegularly required to lift 25 lbs. and occasionally lift or supporting people with special needs is preferred move 50-100 lbs. (assisted)Experience:One year (1), experience caring for individuals with intellectual disabilities/related disabilities.
