What You'll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide direct care, support, and encouragement to individuals in a residential setting while promoting their dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting individuals with daily living activities and personal care as needed
• Supporting individuals in achieving personal goals and developing life skills
• Ensuring a safe, positive, and supportive environment
• Completing documentation and maintaining accurate records
• Performing light housekeeping and household tasks
• Responding appropriately to routine situations and emergencies
• Building positive relationships with individuals, families, and team members
• Encouraging community involvement and meaningful activities

Successful DSPs/CNAs/HHAs Nursing Students and other caring professionals who are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to supporting others
• Dependable with excellent attendance and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to adapt to the unique needs of individuals served
• Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, human services, or direct support is helpful but not required
