Direct Support Professional DSP Geriatric Care
Flexible Shifts | $16–$20/hr | Weekly Pay

We are hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide hands-on care and companionship to elderly clients only in home and community-based settings, including private homes, independent living, and assisted living environments.

This position is strictly focused on geriatric (senior) care. No pediatric, childcare,  

This role is ideal for individuals who may not have formal healthcare credentials but do have real-life experience providing care and support to older adults—such as a parent, spouse, grandparent, or other loved one.

We welcome applicants with transferable caregiving experience who are comfortable working with seniors in need of daily support.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities for elderly clients
  • Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Support mobility, transfers, and physical assistance as needed
  • Prepare meals and assist with daily routines
  • Provide companionship, supervision, and emotional support
  • Promote safety, dignity, and independence

Requirements

  • Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be 21+ due to insurance requirements for transporting clients
  • Ability to safely assist with lifting/transfers up to 50 lbs
  • Flexibility to work assigned shifts in home, independent living, and assisted living settings
