We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as
Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and providing them with the care and assistance they need to lead fulfilling lives.
**Duties:** Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores - Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals - Implement care plans and support goals tailored to each individual's needs - Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care - Foster independence and community integration for individuals with disabilities
**Requirements:** Experience or willingness to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia - Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care tasks - Ability to lift and transfer individuals safely when needed - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people - Previous experience in social work, home care, senior care, or direct support is a plus
