Shift type: Day Shift and Evening Shift | Part-Time  
Location: El Cajon, CA | Ramona, CA 

Job Summary
We’re looking for a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Staff to join our team in supporting adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. You’ll play a key role in helping someone live a full, independent life—whether it’s assisting with daily tasks, running errands, or getting out in the community. You’ll be working with a fun-loving client who enjoys getting out in the community and staying active.


Experience is great, but not required—we’re happy to train the right person!
 
Responsibilities 

• Prepare meals and snacks
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Support personal care, including bathing
• Provide companionship and community engagement 
• Offer meaningful choices and encourage independence
• Assist with errands and grocery shopping
• Dispense medication as directed
• Follow the client's behavior plan
• Accurately complete daily documentation

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving or support experience preferred 
• Must pass DOJ Livescan
• Physical & TB test required during onboarding
• Basic cooking and cleaning skills
• Ability to follow health and safety protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, patient, and respectful
