Job Summary: This role is crucial for supporting the tax function's annual and ongoing objectives within a forward-thinking finance organization. The Direct Tax Manager will lead income tax compliance, accounting, reporting, forecasting, strategy, and analysis, while managing a team of tax professionals. This position offers a significant opportunity to impact organizational growth by partnering closely with senior leadership on complex tax matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee US income tax compliance, audits, planning, and reporting.
- Manage execution of the global income tax compliance calendar.
- Develop and implement strategies for tax burden reduction.
- Provide guidance and development for tax team members.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and data quality.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and US GAAP.
- Proven experience leading and developing tax professionals.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
This role requires experience in corporate tax, specifically within a global financial environment, with a preference for individuals who have led teams.
